Modernizing Washington!

This Chicago native is, without doubt, the definition of an Ivy League Business Woman. Not only is she consistently proclaimed to be one of the world's top 50 Most Powerful Black Business Women by Black Enterprise, but she also has plans to shake up the "White House" with a little bit of spunk, style, and glamour! White House social secretary Desiree Rogers (well known for her great sense of style and business insight), along with other White House staff, are enjoying spending time going over ripe material in order to turn the House into a home for the Obama family; as well as a home for it's 96% African-American staff workers to bring lively-hood, and a sense of fitting in where it matters the most! Rogers says that she would like to improve the art collection of the president's abode in her interview with Newsweek: "There is a wonderful collection of art, but what's missing is modern art. And also, we'd like to see more diversity of the artists themselves--more women artists, more African-American artists, more Hispanic artists, artists of American-Indian decent, Asian-Americans." Seems as if the pot will be stirring, and we all have to wait and see how this "Artifact" is dissected and re-vamped! Rogers also projected the significance of the new President and his family in the White House, which is an astounding new opportunity to start up the engines of the "New Generation" with a symbolic touch to the Home of the Obama's, and many more distinct presidents ahead of us!
