Girl in a Coma released their debut album "Both Before I'm Gone" in 2007 and has been touring off of a 10-track album up until 2009 with 3 hit singles... and now they are ready to release their second album on June 2, 2009 on Blackheart Records called "Trio B.C."
The girls chose Trio B.C. as their album title because it was once the name of Phanie and Nina's grandfathers tejano band back in the 50's! I think that it's super sweet to give a shout out to your grandfathers band on your well earned record, especially for all the influence that he was said to give the two tight-knit sisters when they were youngsters!
With that said, Girl in a Coma's new album will feature their first song in Spanish called "Ven Cerca", plus all of their other titles that will rock your socks off...! If you can't wait until June 2 like myself, the fab 3 are giving you a sneak peak at Hiding My Trail EP of off their new album on digital formats and vinyl April 21! Rock on!
