Iceland's Social Affairs Minister who is nicknamed "St. Johanna" for her invigorating work involving the handi-capped, disadvantaged, and the elderly; she is a former flight attendant and union organizer with a 73% approval rating from Iceland's people for Prime Minister. She is the first female to head state, as is she the first openly gay person to become one of the world's preeminent officials. As of February 1, 2009, Johanna Sigurdardottir plans to recondition her country's central bank while possibly making Iceland a member in the European Union to disengage Iceland's fiscal crisis.
