On a trip to France, Michelle Obama had the pleasure of meeting their first lady, Carla Bruni! Obama's trip went something like this:

Michelle: "Hmm... what a rather fascinating woman, she wears bows around her neck like I do! I wonder if her skin is as soft as mine. I think her eyes are green, maybe they are blue... oh I don't know but they sure were beautiful, maybe I'll just take a quick glance... oh better not, those cameras keep flashing god knows what they will do to a girl. Ohh... but I just want to glimpse so bad, blue... green..., I can't take it anymore. Damn I want that dress, it looks goood on her!"

Michelle: "I wonder if my President would mind if I just touched her hand, just to see if her skin is as soft as mine... that's it, no other intentions at all. It looks gay, but I'm not, just the soft skin issue... honestly!"

Michelle: "Oh, thank the good lord up there who got me where I am today... SOFT, SOFT skin, oh it's so soft It's got me wanting more! And her eyes... they are green, so green and beautiful, and what am I going delirious? Oh, I don't care I need more, give me more Carla... Show me some love, look at me I'm smirking at you! I don't smirk at anybody or anything except my husband but he won't mind if I just borrow you for the day, evening, weekend... Oh please don't let go of my hand, the softness...!"

The 2009 Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Centers annual "An Evening With Women" went more than well last Friday at the fabulous Beverly Hilton Hotel. For people who don't know, this event is an evening set out to bring lesbians, bisexuals, and women supporters together for an evening filled with music, art, comedy, auctions, and much more! "An Evening With Women" celebrates all the achievements of the women in the community who make a difference each and everyday. But, I like to think it celebrates us all as a whole through out this country and the rest of the world!

This years event held a wide variety of a-list guests, including the infamous Samantha Ronson who spun her tuns all evening. There were performances by Christina Aguilera, and Linda Perry who rocked out the ballroom. As well as special appearances which included that of Sarah Silverman, Jennifer Coolidge, Jane Lynch, and many more that crowded the Beverly Hilton. The shrew of photo guests included:

Brittany Snow

Clementine Ford, and Mother Cybill Shepherd

Eliza Dushku

Michele Fleury

And the unforgettable Sharon Stone, who hosted a live auction filled with amusing and enjoyable laughter! All funds raised at "An Evening With Women" go to support a wide range of women's programs at the L.A. Gay and Lesbian Center. Programs include: women's health, legal assistance, domestic violence prevention and education, and cultural programs designed just for women.

This is an astonishing event that helps so many of us feel as if we are being taken care of in any situation. This annual evening was created and is educed for all the right reasons!

The Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Center is one of the many who want to help you! Check out your local LGBT Community Center and get involved--its never too late. Listen, if we all start helping just a smidgen, we can really make a difference in the lives we live and the lives that we wish to achieve in the future!

A kind tribute to one of the many fabulous comedians who have touched my heart!

Bea Arthur's last performance on Comedy Centrals, Roast of Pamela Anderson!!

National Treasure is right, and she was treated as such!

Bea lived a great and comedic life in the eyes of her fans, who enjoyed every waking moment with her flourished talent, feminist approaches, and eyes of a better life. Her talent and wise outlooks live on, passing off many years and decades of comedy and fulfillment of dreams to the newest generations to come. At 86, she battled cancer, a fight she lost, but a fight she didn't give up on. Just as she didn't give up on me and you in our fight for equality and femininity and all the blunders that come with it! With that we honor you and thank you Bea! It's a fight we will keep endeavoring and hopefully one day, we will see what this fight has to offer when it is ceased!

We will miss you "Pussy Cat"!

Barrymore the Fashion Icon

Saturday, April 25, 2009

Drew Barrymore is making more of a statement than ever! Whisking away the cover of W Magazine, with her sheik, remotely innocent, but daring stare; she has been convicted by the fashion industry, and both you and me, of FASHION VICTORY!

Casual or bell of the ball, Barrymore is relaxed, and is being said to rock the words Fashion, and Icon like no other at this time. But, despite her fabulous fashion and pleasing smile, Barrymore has more in store than just material.

While she has opened her own production company that has brought in almost $900 million in global ticket pricing, and has been predominate in making romantic comedies come to life, she came to realize she had more to show, more to tell, and more talent to portray when she snatched the part of "Little Eddie" Beale in
Grey Gardens, which she explains as "a coming-of-self story" in her interview with W. She fought hard for the part, and says that she knew she had more in her than she was putting out there. She researched Eddie Beale and devoted her life to Eddie during the making of the film, in order to portray the real story and become Eddie herself. Grey Gardens, which appears this month on HBO, will give Barrymore the anticipated acting credit that lives up to the Barrymore name!

I'm guessing we will have to watch to see for ourselves just what this story is about and how well Barrymore lives up to the family name.

John Legends new song "Everybody Knows" is about giving love a second chance, and revealing different situations among a vast variety of couples, including that of a homosexual lesbian couple. In a teenage sort of hyper cheering voice "WE LOVE YOU JOHN"! And that hot couple in the back of that Taxi!

Yesterday on Ellen, Lindsay Lohan made an appearance that was both good for her ego, her career, and her broken hearten public breakup with celebrity DJ Samantha Ronson. Basically, Lindsay spends too much of her time following Sam and their relationship, trying keep things hot and fresh. She then finds her career is slipping, the tabloids are back to their usual game of "crash and burn", and her mending heart has just been publicly ripped out by the love of her life. I felt really, just sad for Lindsay as I think a lot of people felt when they watched the show yesterday. I do feel like this was a class act for her, and hopefully some good and unanswered questions for caring fans will come out of this. See for yourself. What do you think of her appearance on the show and intentions?

"I Didn't Just Kiss Her"...

Thursday, April 23, 2009

Jen Foster has a cheeky, and lively response for Katy Perrys revealing smash hit "I Kissed a Girl"! "I Didn't Just Kiss Her" , is a response in which Jen sort of questions the fact that, "Oh, you just kissed her" scenario, because seriously, we always know that there is more to the taunter of the tongue than that of the kiss itself!

Jen has a new album called "Thirty Nine" that will be ready for sales this summer. It took two years to put the album together, but when you write your own music and get your own producers, musicians, and everything else that goes into making a great album, the wait is worth it! This album is said to be the best songwriting of her career so far! I can't wait to get my hands on a hard copy of this new album, it's going to be out of this world!

Jen has a ton of great gigs coming up, see if she's playing in your area and go see this talented proudly out musician and support her! She's also extremely adorable, that always makes a gig more admirable of going to! Her new website is full of great information, and a shop where you can download the newest hit single "I Didn't Just Kiss Her"! Check it out ladies! She does not disappoint!

Zoe Landau, U.S. Attorney! Something about that makes me want to be handcuffed and... Mmmm Mmmm, you almost got it out of me!!

She did it again, and she'll keep doing it! Flaunting herself about in the perfect roles, with the perfect wardrobe, and perfect profanity that she belts out so seductively; It's become sort of an art for her!

It doesn't matter if shes kissing girls, or guys, or boys or women (she should probably continue to kiss women...), she played that role of Zoe amazingly this evening! I'm sure it boosted the series ratings, not to mention FOX's ratings, because it is Jennifer Beals we are talking about, but not just her as a person but her ability to act and create these characters that come directly to life! You would never know she was acting anything out, she is just that good!

I think she won herself a spot on the show, at least for a few more episodes. I mean, come on, you can't end an episode with a bosom scene after screwing your ex and then just not have anything else to do with them... oh wait, that happens these days! Wow, don't lie to me, get Jennifer back on the show!! We like Zoe Landau!

Plus Kelli Williams character Dr. Gillian Foster needs a friend! (Now there's a fantasy... they were walking together in this episode and I wanted to faint!) I haven't seen her since "The Practice"!

ILENE CHAIKEN... WHO DIDN'T LET THE GIRLS GET A WORD IN AFTER WINNING A RECOGNITION AWARD FOR HER CREATION THAT THEY WORKED SO HARD IN PORTRAYING. I THOUGHT THAT SHE WAS OUT OF LINE A FEW TIMES WHEN SHE WAS SPEAKING, TALKING ABOUT HOW SHE WANTED HER CHARACTERS TO BE A LITTLE MORE PRETTIER, SKINNIER, MORE FASHIONABLE BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT PEOPLE WATCH. OH ILENE, I STILL LOVE YOU JUST FOR CASTING JENNIFER BEALS AS YOUR MAIN CHARACTER... NO, BUT HONESTLY THERE WAS MORE SPOKEN THAN SHOULD HAVE BEEN! BUT, SHE STILL LOOKED LOVELY AND I'M SURE SHE WAS A TID-BIT NERVOUS!

LEAVE IT UP TO THE TALL ONE TO CRADLE THE AWARD!! SMOKING, SMOKIN, SMOKIN! ALL FOUR OF THEM (KATE MOENNIG, LEISHA HAILEY, JENNIFER BEALS, ILENE CHAIKEN) LOOK ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS SPORTING THEIR WHITE KNOTS FOR MARRIAGE EQUALITY; BEAUTIFUL!

AND LOOK, JANE LYNCH SHOWED UP FOR "L WORD" SUPPORT LOOKING SUPER SPIFFY!
THANK YOU GLAAD FOR THE IMAGES ABOVE!
